মন্দির ও শান্তি
וְשָׁפַט בֵּין הַגּוֹיִם וְהוֹכִיחַ לְעַמִּים רַבִּים וְכִתְּתוּ חַרְבוֹתָם לְאִתִּים וַחֲנִיתוֹתֵיהֶם לְמַזְמֵרוֹת לֹא־יִשָּׂא גוֹי אֶל־גּוֹי חֶרֶב וְלֹא־יִלְמְדוּ עוֹד מִלְחָמָה׃
And He shall judge between the nations, And shall decide for many peoples; And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruninghooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war any more.
শিক্ষার পর্বত
যিশাইয় ও মীখা দুই গ্রন্থেই জাতিরা জয় করতে বা জিতে যেতে আসে না। তারা শিক্ষা পেতে আসে এবং শান্তি গড়তে ফিরে যায়। একই ভাববাণী দুই গ্রন্থেই প্রায় শব্দে শব্দে আছে।
וְיָשְׁבוּ אִישׁ תַּחַת גַּפְנוֹ וְתַחַת תְּאֵנָתוֹ וְאֵין מַחֲרִיד כִּי־פִי ה׳ צְבָאוֹת דִּבֵּר׃
But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig-tree; And none shall make them afraid; For the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken.
‘তারা ক্ষতি বা ধ্বংস করবে না’
যিশাইয়ের পবিত্র পর্বতের দর্শন শেষ হয় ঈশ্বরের জ্ঞানে পূর্ণ এক পৃথিবীতে। রামবাম এই পদ দিয়েই তাঁর সমগ্র বিধিসংহিতা শেষ করেন।
রামবামের সংযম
রামবাম জোর দেন যে মশীহ যুগে প্রাকৃতিক জগৎ বদলাবে না; নেকড়ে আর মেষশাবকের মতো ছবিগুলো দৃষ্টান্ত। ঋষিরা সেই সময় চাইতেন অন্যের ওপর শাসন করতে নয়, তোরাহ ও প্রজ্ঞার জন্য মুক্ত থাকতে, দুর্ভিক্ষ ও যুদ্ধ ছাড়া।
